US Treasury Reports Net Securities Inflows Declined in October Based on TICS Data

04:08 PM EST, 12/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The US Treasury reported Thursday that there was a net combined $203.6 billion inflow of long-term, short-term and banking flows in October, compared with a $398.9 billion inflow in September.

Long-term securities transactions represented a $152.3 billion inflow, while short-term transactions were a net $8.5 billion inflow and bank liabilities were a net $42.8 billion inflow.

By country, Japan remained the largest holder of Treasury securities with $1.103 trillion.
