Jubilant FoodWorks, a franchisee for Domino's Pizza and Dunkin' Donuts in India, posted a better-than-expected net profit of Rs 68.1 crore for the fourth quarter.
A strong same store growth of 26.5% of its Domino's outlets helped the company's revenue rise by about 27%, the company said in a statement. The same-store-sales growth also beat the expectation if 20% growth.
The company posted an EBITDA margin of 16.4% as against the CNBC-TV18 poll of 15.6%, while the EBITDA for the period was Rs 127.9 crore compared to the poll of Rs 117 crore.
The total store count for Domino's stands at 1,134 where it opened seven new restaurants in the January-March quarter.
"Sharp focus on Digital sales drove strong growth for us, leading to a six-year high of 26.5% SSG for Domino’s Pizza in the quarter. In Dunkin’ Donuts, we halved our losses in line with our stated commitment through a focus on Donuts and Beverages and shutting of unprofitable stores," said CEO Pratik Pota.
Online sales also contributed 63% to the delivery sales, the company said.
The board has approved the bonus in the 1:1 ratio and the revenue stands at Rs 780 crore as against the CNBC-TV18 poll Of Rs 751 crore.
