FY19 should be a strong year for consumer products segments, said Anant Bajaj, Managing Director, Bajaj Electricals.
The company came out with a good set of earnings on Wednesday for the fourth quarter of FY18.
Revenues were up around 27%, while margins also improved to 8.4% against 5.8% year-on-year.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) was also up 82.6% but net profit was down 81% at Rs 7.3 crore against Rs 38.4 crore year-on-year.
The company incurred a one-time loss of Rs 89.4 crore.
