Are you returning items that you ordered on Amazon? Then, be careful, it might get you banned from the service.
The e-commerce giant bans shoppers from its site for returning too many items, sometimes without giving any reason, reported Wall Street Journal.
According to the report, the company has banned two accounts without warning.
Many people have complained on online forums about Amazon’s decision and said the company closed their accounts without warning or explanation, the report added.
Amazon does not specify that what can get users banned. But most practices tied to misusing its return policy can raise alarms, such as returning the wrong item or making frequent returns, said WSJ.
“We want everyone to be able to use Amazon, but there are rare occasions where someone abuses our services over an extended period of time. We never take these decisions lightly, but with over 300 million customers around the world, we take action when appropriate to protect the experience for all our customers,” an Amazon spokesman was quoted as saying in her.ie.
