Share Market Highlights: Indian equity benchmarks NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex ended over a percent lower each on the last trading day of the week, a day after the indices ended at a four-month high. This was the first one percent or more movement in the Nifty 50 index since March 30. Financial shares led the headline indices lower. The Nifty Bank index fell over 1,000 points or 2.3 percent, falling the most since Jan 27. HDFC twins, the biggest gainers in the trade on Thursday, dragged the indices on Friday. Investors await more of financial results from India Inc for domestic cues, with Britannia and Marico due to post their earnings later in the day. Bharat Forge reported its March quarter numbers earlier in the day, while Adani Enterprises, Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor and others reported their quarterly numbers on Thursday.

Marico's revenue from operations rose 3.6 percent to Rs 2,240 crore during the quarter under review. The stock closed 0.80 percent lower at Rs 493.25 apiece on BSE in Friday's trade.

The company sees the operating margin in the year expand by 50-100 basis points.
