03:28 PM EST, 01/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks climbed late Tuesday afternoon with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) rising 1.9%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index advanced 1.9%.

In corporate news, Nvidia ( NVDA ) is likely to post strong fiscal Q4 results, despite some concerns that have lingered since its previous quarterly report, UBS Securities said. Nvidia ( NVDA ) shares rose 2.7%.
