The Philadelphia Housing Index was easing 0.2%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) was down 0.4%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) was gaining 0.5% to $94,014, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was rising 3.3 basis points to 4.41%.
In economic news, mortgage application volume rose last week even though the 30-year fixed rate for conforming loan balances approached a 7% level, the Mortgage Bankers Association said Wednesday.
In corporate news, Lemonade (LMND) shares surged 15.6% after Morgan Stanley upgraded the company to equalweight from underweight and raised its price target to $42 from $23.
