08:51 AM EDT, 07/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were edging higher premarket Friday as the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) was recently up 0.1%.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was 0.4% higher and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was down 0.1%.

Comerica ( CMA ) declined by over 10% after it reported lower Q2 adjusted earnings and revenue.
