12:45 AM EDT, 05/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
Our 12-month target price of $100, raised $9, reflects an 8.5x multiple of projected '25 EPS, above AER's historical forward average. We think a premium is merited due to ongoing difficulties with new aircraft deliveries by OEM manufacturers, which could encourage more transactions through AER. We lift our '24 EPS estimate by $0.98 to $10.93 and '25's by $0.43 to $11.78. Q1 EPS of $3.29, vs. $2.34, beat the consensus view by $0.90. We think there is likely to be strong demand in the marketplace for older assets that AER can either sell or lease, barring a rapid turnaround in OEM production cadence. To be fair, AER is also among the customers of the OEMs, but we believe the number of potentially delayed arrivals is well shy of potential new deployments of older assets. AER is hosting a Capital Markets Day next week, and we believe the interest level in AER's leasable aircraft will yield rate increases in '25.
