Research Alert: CFRA Keeps Hold Opinion On Shares Of Avantor, Inc.
Mar 26, 2025 1:21 PM

04:10 PM EDT, 03/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We lower our 12-month target price to $17 from $18, 13.7x our 2026 EPS of $1.24, below AVTR's five-year historical forward P/E average of 21.7x. We think this is justified by the complex operating environment that the company is navigating. We reduce our 2025 EPS estimate to $1.07 from $1.10. We maintain our 2026 EPS forecast at $1.24. We updated our model and slightly lowered our revenue forecasts for the first half of the year due to on-going uncertainties in the demand environment. We now see total revenue of $6.69 billion for 2025, pointing to a 1.2% Y/Y decline versus a 1% Y/Y increase earlier, after sales dropped by 3% Y/Y in 2024. We still think there is limited upside potential at current levels as AVTR may continue to be pressured in the near term by funding uncertainties in the U.S. and globally, and also across certain markets. We think global macro challenges may result in continued spending caution both domestically, where AVTR generated 52% of its revenue during 2024, and internationally.
