DSP Group, one of India's oldest financial firm, ended its decade old partnership with BlackRock AMC, world's largest investment management firm.

When both sides want majority, one side has to take a call! Was just not interesting in selling majority, Hemendra Kothari, chairman, DSP Group, told to CNBC-TV18.

DSP was in a 60:40 partnership with BlackRock, and is set to buy 40% stake in the international management firm.
