UBS Closes Merger of Swiss Business With Credit Suisse (Schweiz)

07:28 AM EDT, 07/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- UBS (UBS) said Monday it has closed the merger of UBS Switzerland and Credit Suisse (Schweiz).

Credit Suisse (Schweiz) has been deregistered from the Commercial Register of the Canton of Zurich, UBS said, adding that it has ceased to exist as a separate entity.

Credit Suisse (Schweiz) CEO Andre Helfenstein is leaving the bank after the deal's completion, UBS said.
