Opera Q2 Earnings, Revenue Rise; Issues Q3 Guidance, Lifts 2024 Outlook

07:58 AM EDT, 08/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Opera (OPRA) reported Q2 earnings Thursday of $0.22 per diluted American depositary share, up from $0.15 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.16.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $109.7 million, up from $94.1 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $108.6 million.

The company said it expects Q3 revenue to be between $119 million and $121 million. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $118.7 million.

For 2024, the company said it now expects revenue of $461 million to $467 million, compared with $454 million to $465 million, previously. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $459.8 million.

Shares of Opera rose 4.4% in recent premarket activity Thursday.
