06:17 AM EST, 12/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Boeing ( BA ) resumed production of its 737 MAX aircraft last week almost a month after a nearly eight-week strike, Reuters reported Monday, citing three unnamed sources familiar with the matter.
Production of the jet resumed on Friday, the report said.
Boeing ( BA ) has about pending 4,200 orders for the jetliner from airlines worldwide, the report said. It hopes to produce 56 of the planes per month but has been limited to 38 by the Federal Aviation Administration, the report said.
Boeing ( BA ) did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
