05:37 PM EST, 01/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CNX Resources ( CNX ) closed the $505 million cash acquisition of the natural gas upstream and associated midstream business in the Appalachian Basin of Apex Energy II, a portfolio company of funds managed by Carnelian Energy Capital Management.

The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to free cash flow per share, CNX said Monday in a statement.
