01:14 PM EDT, 04/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Air Products and Chemicals ( APD ) said Tuesday it plans to build a network of permanent hydrogen refueling stations along the Queen Elizabeth II Highway in Alberta, Canada, stretching from Edmonton to Calgary.
These stations will serve heavy-duty vehicles and light-duty hydrogen fuel cell cars.
The first permanent station in Edmonton is scheduled to be operational in 2025. Currently, a temporary mobile fueler is serving customers on the site.
Financial details of the project were not shared.
