The company now anticipates revenue to rise by 4% to 7% in local currency for fiscal 2025, up from its prior projections for a 3% to 6% increase. The current consensus on FactSet is for revenue of $68.62 billion. The stock rose 4.7% in premarket activity.

Foreign exchange is forecast to be a 0.5% headwind to the firm's results in the year, compared with the prior outlook for a positive impact of 1.5%.

For the three months through Nov. 30, Accenture's ( ACN ) revenue rose to $17.69 billion from $16.22 billion a year earlier, topping the Street's view for $17.15 billion. The company's earnings jumped 16% year over year to $3.59, surpassing analysts' $3.40 estimate.

"Our strategy to lead reinvention for clients while continuing to invest in our business has given us a strong start to fiscal 2025," Chief Executive Julie Sweet said in a statement. New bookings ticked up 1% to $18.7 billion comprising $9.22 billion in consulting and $9.48 billion in managed services.
