MOSCOW, April 16 (Reuters) - The Russian rouble slightly
weakened against the U.S. dollar on Tuesday, dropping to a
5-1/2-month low.
By 0739 GMT, the rouble was 0.22% lower at
93.95 to the dollar after trading in a range of 93.523 to 94.183
and hitting its weakest point since late October 2023.
Against the euro, the rouble rose 0.13% to
99.71 and dropped 0.22% to 12.91 against the yuan
.
Brent crude oil, a global benchmark for Russia's
main export, rose 0.3% to $90.39 a barrel.
Russian stock indexes fell. The dollar-denominated RTS index
fell 0.24% to 1,164.15. The rouble-based MOEX Russian
index was flat at 3,472.05.
