April 3 (Reuters) - Canada's main index opened lower on
Thursday, weighed down by energy and mining stocks, as U.S.
President Donald Trump's reciprocal tariffs against major
trading partners amplified fears of global recession.
At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's
S&P/TSX composite index was down 3.29% at 24,474.92
points.
