May 7 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened
higher on Tuesday, pulled up by industrial stocks, while
investor sentiment remained upbeat on reviving hopes of interest
rate cuts in the year.
At 9:30 a.m. ET (13:30 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's
S&P/TSX composite index was up 39.52 points, or 0.18%,
at 22,298.99.
