Zydus Wellness is planning to acquire Kraft Heinz India jointly with Cadila Healthcare.

Heinz India business includes brands like Complan, Glucon D, Nycil and Sampriti ghee. The deal is valued at Rs 4,595 crore.

The transaction will be financed by a mix of equity and debt. Post the deal, Zydus will get global rights for Glucon D, Nycil and Sampriti ghee.

Zydus will also get rights for Complan for India, Bangladesh and Nepal. The combined entity will have a revenue of around Rs 1,700 crore. The transaction is expected to by FY19 end.
