Tata Global Beverages will be reporting its first-quarter earnings on Wednesday and analysts expect the tea and coffee maker to post double-digit profit growth.
According to Kotak’s estimates, the revenue is expected to grow by about 6 percent at Rs 1,911 crore. The EBITDA likely to grow subdued just around 1.5-2 percent at Rs 253 crore and there would be some margin compression. As a result of that on a low base expect net profit to grow by around 18.50 percent.
The key number to watch will be its domestic tea business, where the volume growth is seen at around 10 percent. 3 percent growth is seen in its international business.
The street will definitely watch out for any commentary clarity on the merger timelines with Tata Chemicals consumer business.
