Hospitality chain, Oyo Hotels & Homes, which is present in 259 cities with 173,000 rooms, on Tuesday said it's committing Rs 1,400 crore to India expansion.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18's Syna Dehnugara, Aditya Ghosh, chief executive officer, India & South Asia, said the Softbank-backed OYO is adding 10,000 rooms a month on average in India.
The company currently has over 13,000 franchised or leased hotels and over 6,000 homes as a part of its network. OYO is now present in nine countries -- India, Nepal, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, the UAE, the UK, Philippines and Saudi Arabia.
