The world's largest cellphone factory is now open in Noida.

Prime Minister Modi and South Korea's President Moon Jae-In inaugurated the plant on July 9. The factory has the capacity to manufacture 10 million phones every month.

Samsung said that the company aims to produce 120 million mobile-phones from this facility by 2020.

Samsung has been making mobile-phones in India since 2007. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for an investment of Rs 4915 crore this particular plant was signed in 2017 with the UP government.
