Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries' subsidiary Reliance Brand on Thursday acquired 259 years old British toymaker Hamleys from C Banner International for Rs 621. 15 crore (GBP 67.96 million).

The retail arm, Reliance Retail currently has the license to sell Hamleys' products in India, taking over from China's C Banner International who had acquired the toymaker in 2015 in a 100 million pound deal.
