The race to acquire Ruchi Soya has heated up with four bids submitted by Godrej Agrovet, Patanjali Ayurveda, Adani Wilmar and Emami Agrotech being opened by the lenders.
Patanjali has made the highest offer and the offer comes with no conditions attached. Patanjali also offered to pay full amount of Rs 4,000 crore in cash within 30 days if they were declared the winning bidder.
The second highest offer comes from Adani Wilmar which has placed a bid of about Rs 3,200 crore.
Godrej Agrovet, and Emami Agrotech have only bid for parts of the company.
