American food company Kraft Heinz on Wednesday said it is happy to find a strategic partner like Indo Nissin to distribute its products in India.
“It is time to take the distribution journey forward. Indo Nissin Foods has a fantastic distribution network pan India and they have an omni-channel network present. So I think that is another bigger advantage that we see,” said Sankalp Potbhare, MD, Kraft Heinz India.
After selling a part of its Indian business to Zydus Wellness, Kraft Heinz is all set to enter into a distribution partnership with Indo Nissin Foods. The company will distribute Kraft Heinz's tomato ketchup in India.
Last year, in a $627.18 million deal, Kraft Heinz sold some of its brands in India, including malt-based drink Complan and energy drink Glucon-D, to Zydus Wellness Ltd and its parent Cadila Healthcare Ltd.
"We have been able to find a strategic partner to take the brand journey forward because the last couple of years we had a very good run on Heinz Tomato Ketchup,” said Sankalp Potbhare, MD, Kraft Heinz India.
