Footfalls in the last quarter declined by 12% in Kochi and 10% in Bengaluru whereas Hyderabad saw 2% growth in footfall. This happened due to the change in GST rates in the first and second half of that quarter, said Arun K Chittilappilly, MD, Wonderla Holidays.
The average revenue per user was 800 in FY18 and we expect 1-2% growth in ARPU for FY19, he said.
“We want to maintain stable pricing for the customer throughout the year and to that effect, we are holding pricing and we are seeing a positive impact on footfalls for this Q1 of the year. We want to grow the footfalls in double digits for at least the new parks. The older parks, maybe high single digit, has 8-10%,”Arun K Chittilappilly, MD, Wonderla Holidays.
