Flipkart Republic Day Sale: Instant discount, exchange offers, no cost EMI and more

Ecommerce giant Flipkart's Republic Day Sale will be kicked off starting January 20 and will go on until January 22.

Under the sale, Flipkart is hosting "blockbuster deals" on mobile phones, laptops, TVs and other electronic items. There will be an instant 10 percent discount on SBI Credit Cards. There will also be exchange offers no-cost EMI options on credit cards and Debit Card EMI.

Flipkart is also offering Block Buster deals on Mobiles, Laptops and TVs every eight hours, Rush Hours extra discounts till 2:00 AM on January 20, extra 26 percent off everyday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 10 percent off on Rs 1,450 worth shopping and 15 percent off on shopping worth Rs 1,950.

According to a microsite launched by Flipkart to tease its development, there will be "massive discounts" on mobile phones, up to 75 percent discount on TVs and appliances, and up to 80 percent of electronics and accessories. Flipkart also offers 40-80 percent discount on fashion, home and furniture.

While the sale starts on January 20, Flipkart Plus members will get early access to the sale starting at 8 pm on January 19.

Countering the Flipkart sale, another ecommerce giant Amazon has also announced the dates of its Great Indian Sale. The Amazon Great Indian Sale will be held between January 20 and January 23, 2019, where the ecommerce company will provide discounts on products in many categories.
