India's largest ecommerce platform, Flipkart, is launching its annual festive season sale, The Big Billion Days Sale, from October 10-October 14 with heavy discounts on a range of products including electronics, mobile phones and home and furniture.

“Expect crazy deals every eight hours, massive price drops, extra discounts for the first two hours and flash sales entailing 120 deals over 120 hours,” the online retailer said on its website.

Flipkart is offering EMI (equated monthly instalment) and no cost EMI on debit and credit cards respectively, along with huge discounts to HDFC Bank customers during the sale.

The online retailer is offering up to 80 percent off on electronics, 90 percent off on books, toys, clothing and footwear and special offers on mobile phones.

“The Vivo V9 Youth is up for Rs 13,990, Oppo F9 at only Rs 19,900, Redmi 5A at a discounted price of Rs 5,999 and Samsung S8 with flagship camera and display under Rs 30,000 are only some of the countless deals on mobiles,” Flipkart said.

On Tuesday, ecommerce giant, Amazon India, launched its Great Indian Festival, an annual festive season sale for its Amazon Prime customers. The formal sale is beginning on October 10 and will be on till October 15.
