Expect revenue growth of 14 percent in FY19, says Globus Spirits
Feb 8, 2019 5:38 AM

Globus Spirits reported a 361 percent surge in the December-quarter net profit. Shekhar Swarup, joint MD, spoke to CNBC-TV18 about the company's financial performance and growth outlook.

"The revenue increase seen in Q3 was on the back of stronger ENA prices that were up by 5-7 percent and startup of the Bihar facility. In Q4, the ENA prices are further up by 5 percent," Swarup said on Friday.

“The Bihar facility in October with low capacity utilisation and towards the end of quarter scaled up to acceptable levels and Q4 will see most of that impact coming in,” he said, adding that the capacity utilisation would go up from about 40 percent to above 85 percent in Q4.

"The Bihar facility at about 90 percent capacity utilisation would give a revenue of Rs 150 crore and most of the facility will be used for ethanol production," said Swarup.

"Overall, expect to clock revenue growth of 14 percent in FY19. EBITDA margins are expected to remain around the current levels of 23 percent going forward as well."
