7-Eleven set to rollout its stores in India in 2020

Japanese-American international chain of convenience stores, 7-Eleven is all set to make its India debut. According to sources, the first set of stores will open by February-March 2020 and Andheri-Powai cluster in Mumbai is likely to get 8 stores. The company is set to open 1-2 stores of 2,000 square feet and 6 stores of 1,200 square feet each.7-

Eleven will sell 40-45 percent of fresh food and remaining packaged food in phase one. It will also launch beverages, candy and ice-cream under '7-Select' brand. The company will look at the sale of fresh food, packaged food and takeaway options. In February 2019, 7-Eleven signed a master franchise agreement with the Future Group to manage stores in India.
