Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot on Tuesday said in this Assembly election he is focussing on the development of the state and will expose the current government.
"My responsibility as the Congress party president is to expose the current government, make it accountable and let them not deviate from the issues of job generation, unemployment, education and health care," Pilot told CNBC-TV18.
They want to take it towards ghar wapsi and cow vigilante, mandir-masjid debate and that is a typical BJP narrative, he said.
Pilot is contesting from Tonk assembly seat. BJP has pitted their only Muslim candidate, Yoonus Khan, against him.
"The BJP has deceived the people and its report card is in front of the people. There is resentment among the people and they are waiting to vote for the Congress," Pilot added.
The state will go to polls on December 7.
