The Congress party on Thursday accused Vasundhara Raje government of favouritism in waiving-off loans for farmers.
"Loan waivers have been done but it was selective and I think the best answer can be given by the farmers themselves,” Manvendra Singh, Congress candidate from Jhalrapatan assembly constituency, told CNBC-TV18.
Manvendra Singh, son of former union minister Jaswant Singh, is contesting against chief minister Vasundhara Raje. Manvendra Singh is targeting the Rajputs votes in the area and said Raje government has been partial when it comes to the matters of the farming community.
