Raiganj is an Assembly constituency in the Uttar Dinajpur district, in the North Bengal region of West Bengal.The Raiganj constituency went to polls on April 22, 2021.The assembly seat is reserved for the General category.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Raiganj was won by Mohit Sengupta of SP.Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Mohit Sengupta of INC.In the 2016 assembly polls, Mohit Sengupta garnered 87983 votes, securing over 58.98 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 51247 votes.

In percentage terms, the victory margin was 34.36 percent.The constituency polled 149296 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 83.46 percent.The Raiganj constituency has a literacy level of 60.13 percent.A total of 9 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
