South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Monday kicked-off his first state visit to India with a tour of the Akshardham temple and said the two countries may have different cultures but share common values such as peace, harmony, and unity in diversity.
The President is leading a delegation comprising senior members of his cabinet, officials as well as industry leaders.
President Moon is on a four-day visit to India, during which he will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on several issues, including the situation on the Korean peninsula and ways to boost bilateral trade and defence cooperation.
They are also expected to sign 11 agreements between India and South Korea.
