Media has spoiled the reputation of many good people including bank chairmen, said Nitin Gadkari, union road and transport minister.

In an exclusive conversation with Network18, the minister slammed trolls for attacking union external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj on social media platforms.

Earlier, facing online abuse over a passport row involving an interfaith couple, Sushma Swaraj conducted a poll on Twitter, asking users whether they "approve such trolling, to which 57 percent respondents said they oppose it.

The minister said people should watch the recently released movie, ‘Sanju’, which raises several concerns regarding the role of media in today's time.
