"India has nothing against people of Pakistan; our fight is against terror infrastructure that obtains in Pakistan," said former diplomat, Vishnu Prakash.

He further said that the attack at Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) camp was against terrorism and not the people of Pakistan. “Pakistan knows that escalation will boomerang because Pakistan is in a mess, and today they have no supporters,” he added.

According to him, India, today stands with an impeccable track record of growth at global level.

Talking about air force wing commander, Abhinandan Varthaman, Prakash said, “Pakistan is under the microscope and every act of Pakistan will be watched. I am quite hopeful that our brave pilot will be released unharmed and with full honour and dignity sooner than later.”

“I am also sure that the world powers are encouraging Pakistan to not let things aggravate and do what is the right thing to do, to release him forthwith,” he further added
