Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday released the party's election manifesto in Mangaluru. The party has called the manifesto as the 'Nava Karnataka Manifesto'.
The manifesto has five divisional variations that will be catering to certain regions of Karnataka.
"If voted to power, Siddaramaiah government will create 1 crore jobs in next five years with effective usage of information technology, big data analysis, artificial intelligence and machine learning," said the Congress manifesto.
Taking a dig at the BJP, Gandhi said the manifesto of saffron party will end up having Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) agenda. However, Congress manifesto is made from collective consensus from the people of Karnataka.
The Congress president claimed the the Siddaramaiah government had fulfilled 95% of the promises made in the manifesto released ahead of the 2013 polls after coming to power.
Elections to the 225-seat assembly are scheduled for 12 May.
