Janata Congress Chhattisgarh chief Ajit Jogi was leading in Marwahi constituency. The Chhattisgarh's first chief minister Ajit Jogi managed to secure 38,623 votes, as per data available on the Election Commission website at 4 pm.
His nearest rival, Bharatiya Janata Party's Archana Porte secured 15,386 votes, while Gulab Singh Raj of the Congress party was trailing at third spot with 10,511 votes.
Marwahi is part of the Korba Lok Sabha parliamentary constituency where voting was held in second phase on November 20.
The Election Commission held voting in two phases in the naxal-affected state on November 12 and November 20.
The first phase of voting covered mostly assembly seats in the Bastar division and parts of Rajnandgaon.
These polls are seen as a bellwether of the 2019 general elections.
