Aug 24, 2020 12:40 AM

The panel of secretaries met on CONCOR and BPCL strategic stake sales, sources informed CNBC-TV18.

After Indian Railways proposed a land licensing fee of 6 percent for CONCOR and proposed to raise to 7 percent later, sources have now said that railways will formalise the land licensing fee (LLF) for CONCOR stake sale soon. Railways will clarify the rate and tenure of LLF for CONCOR keeping all stakeholders in mind.

Government, meanwhile, may take a balanced view on land licensing policy for CONCOR. Government will invite CONCOR bids after railways clarification comes in, sources said.

Over 70 queries have been received on BPCL EoI. However, government will clarify bidders queries in a few days

September 30 is the last date for submission of bids for BPCL strategic sale.

Government is keen to conclude BPCL stake sale in current fiscal, sources add.
