Prime Minister Narendra Modi will file his nomination for the Lok Sabha elections 2019 from Varanasi on April 26, News18 reported on Sunday, citing sources.
According to the sources, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah, UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath and other party leaders are also likely to be present for the nomination, said the report.
Modi will visit Kashi Vishwanath temple before heading for the nomination, the report said, adding that the PM will lead a road show from Ravidass Gate to Godoliya in Varanasi on the same day.
UP's total 80 seats will go to polls in seven phases starting from April 11.
