Hingalganj is an Assembly constituency in the North 24 Parganas district, in the South East Bengal region of West Bengal.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Hingalganj was won by Debes Mandal of TMC.Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Anandamay Mandal of CPI.

In the 2016 assembly polls, Debes Mandal garnered 94753 votes, securing over 53 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 30304 votes.

In percentage terms, the victory margin was 16.95 percent.

The constituency polled 178904 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 84.32 percent.

The Hingalganj constituency has a literacy level of 84.95 percent.

A total of 6 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
