Tata Consultancy Services Ltd (TCS) reshuffled its management, for the first time, after Rajesh Gopinathan took over as the chief executive officer two years ago. The company has appointed new deputy heads for its human resource function and manufacturing vertical, Mint reported, citing sources.
The company appointed Ritu Anand, the former deputy head of human resources (HR), as the new head of global diversity and gave Milind Lakkad, the head of the manufacturing industry unit, an additional responsibility of deputy HR head, Mint reported on Tuesday.
Lakkad is likely to succeed Ajoyendra Mukherjee, the HR head, when the latter retires, an unnamed executive told the paper.
Susheel Vasudevan, who is currently overseeing the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) business unit, has been named the deputy head of the manufacturing segment, the report added.
“Milind (Lakkad) is being groomed to take over from Ajoy, while Susheel (Vasudevan) has been tasked to scale up business from the manufacturing vertical,” the source was quoted as saying.
