05:33 AM EST, 02/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- U.S. crude oil inventories fell 2.3 million barrels to 430.2 million barrels in the week ended Feb. 21, the U.S. Energy Information Administration said in its This Week in Petroleum report released Wednesday.
Crude oil production gained 66,000 barrels per day to 13.49 million b/d, the EIA reported.
Crude oil imports declined by 132,000 b/d to 6.24 million b/d while crude oil exports rose 125,000 b/d to 4.2 million b/d, according to the agency.
Gasoline stocks increased by 400,000 barrels to 248.3 million barrels. Distillate stockpiles also rose 3.9 million barrels to 120.5 million barrels, the EIA reported.
