Sudarshan Sukhani on January 24: Buy UBL, Aurobindo Pharma & JSW Steel
Jan 23, 2019 11:58 PM

The latest analysis and commentary by stock market guru Sudarshan Sukhani on what is moving the markets today. Check out his top stock recommendations.

He spoke at length about United Breweries Ltd (UBL), Aurobindo Pharma, JSW Steel, Tech Mahindra, Nestle India, Motherson Sumi Systems, Tata Motors, NTPC, Idea and Bharti Airtel.

“UBL is a buy. Buy UBL and buy Aurobindo Pharma. The defensives are coming into play, IT, pharma, consumer goods. So UBL and Aurobindo Pharma are buying opportunities for the day. Metals is something I have been bearish on. JSW Steel is a sell for the day,” he said.

“Tech Mahindra and Nestle are buying opportunities. These were two stocks among the very few that closed higher yesterday and they have attractive chart patterns. So in a choppy market, if something can go up, these are two stocks that could go up. I have a lot of sell calls. Motherson Sumi is a short sell, small rallies in Motherson Sumi are failing repeatedly. Tata Motors – again the same story. Big stories come up, there is a Rs 5-10 rally and then it comes down. I continue to believe that Tata Motors will eventually go into double digits. NTPC where a similar rally has fizzled out, it is a difficult day to trade. For Idea, the chart is headed down. I don’t think there is anything in it. Bharti is trying to find stability. Bharti Airtel at some point will become a buying opportunity,” he added.
