Social Buzz: Wallstreetbets Stocks Decline Pre-Bell Tuesday; Tesla, Taiwan Semiconductor to Open Lower

06:36 AM EDT, 04/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The most-talked-about stocks in the Reddit subforum Wallstreetbets were lower hours before Tuesday's opening bell.

Tesla (TSLA) was 2.2% lower in pre-bell activity, declining further after closing Monday with a 5.6% fall. Tesla's (TSLA) round of layoffs affecting more than 10% of its workforce worldwide has already begun, hitting the US and China, Reuters reported, citing five unnamed sources briefed on the matter.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing ( TSM ) was down 1.9% hours before market open, still declining after a 1.7% drop from the previous session.

Trump Media & Technology Group ( DJT ) fell by 2.8% in premarket hours, sinking further after closing Monday with an 18.4% decline.

Nvidia ( NVDA ) was 1% lower pre-bell, following a 2.5% fall at Monday's close.

Antero Midstream ( AM ) slipped by 0.8% hours before the opening bell, declining further after a 1.8% drop from Monday's session.

Apple ( AAPL ) was down 0.5% in premarket activity, after closing Monday with a 2.2% decline.

Advanced Micro Devices ( AMD ) slipped by 0.2% in premarket hours, still down after a 1.8% decline from the previous session.

Intel ( INTC ) was 0.3% lower in early pre-bell hours, reversing a portion of its 1.7% increase at Monday's close.
