03:44 PM EDT, 03/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks climbed late Friday afternoon with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) rising 2.9% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) jumping 4%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor index advanced 3.2%.

In corporate news, Oracle (ORCL) is in talks with the Indonesian government to build a cloud services center in the country, Bloomberg reported. Oracle shares rose 1.3%.

Semtech ( SMTC ) shares surged 19% after it reported fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings late Thursday of $0.40 per diluted share, compared with a $0.06 loss a year earlier.

Rubrik ( RBRK ) shares soared 26%, a day after the company reported fiscal Q4 results and guidance for fiscal Q1 and the full year that beat market expectations.

DocuSign ( DOCU ) shares jumped 14% after it issued an upbeat full-year billings outlook at the midpoint and reported better-than-expected fiscal Q4 results.
