Sector Update: Tech Stocks Flat to Lower Premarket Monday

09:08 AM EDT, 03/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were flat to lower premarket Monday, with The Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) inactive and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) 2.5% lower.

ARM Holdings ( ARM ) expects its share of the worldwide market for data center central processing units to rise to 50% by the end 2025, up from about 15% in 2024, Reuters quoted a senior executive as saying. Shares of ARM Holdings ( ARM ) were down more than 3% pre-bell.

Oracle (ORCL) computer systems were accessed by hackers who stole patient data and attempted to extort US medical providers, Bloomberg reported, citing a person familiar with the matter and a notification sent to clients. Oracle shares were more than 2% lower premarket.

CGI (GIB) shares were down 0.7% after the company said it signed an exclusivity agreement to acquire French digital and engineering services company Apside.
