03:32 PM EDT, 04/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks rose late Wednesday afternoon with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.4% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) gaining 1%.

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose 0.5%.

In corporate news, Meta (META) is preparing to launch a new version of its smart glasses, code-named Hypernova, as early as by the end of 2025, Bloomberg reported. Meta shares were down 0.7%.
