08:49 AM EST, 11/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were declining premarket Friday, with The Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) down 1.1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) 0.7% lower.

Applied Materials ( AMAT ) shares were more than 9% lower after the company overnight reported a decline in fiscal Q4 earnings.
